LØCHLANN JAIN
LØCHLANN JAIN is an award-winning author and Professor of Anthropology at Stanford University and Visiting Chair of Global Health and Social Medicine at King’s College London. Their work aims to unsettle some of the deeply held assumptions about objectivity that underlie the history of medical research.
Løchlain is the author of three books. In their most recent book of drawings, titled Things that Art (University of Toronto Press, 2019), Løchlain reconsiders and interrupts the ways in which categories underpin knowledge systems and also aims to realize drawing as a useful and provocative method in the social sciences. Løchlain is currently working on two books.
